First two days of CNY in Indo

Feasting and house visiting :D
Had a lot of yummy foods and visited besties house on first day of CNY. Ms.W even made the CNY goodies herself. Love the bite-sized pineapple tarts (sorry no close up photos :p)
They also made special beverages for the guests! :)) sweet touch!
Left indo on second day but manage to accompany papa to telkomsel to change his SIM to micro SIM for his new iPhone 4S we got for his birthday :)) seems like he is enjoying the smart phone journey! *happy*
The Telkomsel service is soooo good! They provide free foods at the centre and also great service level by the staffs :D *thumbs up indo!*
On ferry back to Indo right now... Gonna have reunion with the family again since the newly wed sis and the husband is coming back to Indo as well :))

Had reunion dinner last night! :D our first year without Ly Jie since she just got married last december. Papa cooked most of the dishes (he doesn't cook that often but his cooking skill is marvelous!! So mama request to make him cook for most of the years during CNY)
Went to eat vegetarian at temple this morning as today is the first day of CNY. :)
My two besties, ms.T and ms.W are coming to visit my place in the late afternoon and then we will be off to visit their houses as well ^^

Home sweet home

Lug my mega heavy luggage and backpack to harbor in the morning :)
and back to hometown for CNY!
Been almost six months since I last came back. Jie came to fetch me and off we go to buy lunch! Super yummy miso, Mie sultan and banana fritters :D
Helped mama to decorate the house (normally this will be done by Ly but she is married now >.< so we have to do it ourselves this year :(( missing her ) anyway we roughly decorated the house and then took a nap :p
Wait for papa to off work and deliver some cny goodies to a relative and a friend of mama. Afterwards we went to have dinner at Utama foodcourt ^^ my first time there :P
We had yummy petai fried ikan bilis, ayam goreng and fried noodle! And Es Koteng treat from Jie's bf's dad..
Really had an awesome day :)

Hi!! I'm falling asleep soon... Tiring day at school :< due to FYP... Was so hungry while rushing the SEM analysis and had gastric pain though I tried eating a lot for dinner.. Gonna be back in Indo in few hours time so I just did some last minute packing >.<
Received gifts from Rara and she. Rara gave me shortbread and frog chocolate from his trip to Queensland, Australia.
And also received some gorgeous accessories gifts from her :))) love them! Gonna try tying my hair up for the sunny hot CNY in Indo :D
Omg.. My eyelids are so heavy now~~
Oh ya! I only update blog using iPhone these days... :p pardon that photos are not in sequence and always at the bottom of the entry.

Farewell

Went to school an hour early to have lunch with Ella and friends :)) had so much fun chatting with them! And almost forgot to go for lecture haha. Today's lecture was about acne and pimple ! Really quite an eye opener as I have read a lot about these stuffs online but this lect has more info to offer! I'm glad I attended :D
Prof was kind to let us go one and half an hour earlier :X so I managed to meet up with my intern clique earlier. Actually it is a farewell meet up before Tze Ying left for her master and phd in Japan. :(( we chatted for so long!!! So happy to meet them and we had so much to share! :)) wishing Tze Ying a wonderful life journey in Japan! Hope to see her end of this year when she is back for holidays :)
And Thank you Tze Ying for the friendship keychain! :D

Errands on a Monday (16 Jan 2012)

Got medical appointment in the afternoon and then rushed to take some medicine (at another hospital) for my sis. Managed to meet up with parents and sis with her husband too :p
Mama is cute as ever! She wanna get a few dress for CNY but we were so busy the entire day :(( so didn't manage to find a time to shop.
Parents went back indo around 6.30pm and we continue our evening at Chinatown! I have not visited Chinatown for years during CNY :p
But managed to visit three times this year! Haha first was with my elder sis and the bf , 2nd with mama and 3rd with second sis and the husband :))
Tiring but awesome trips!! We had our dinner at geylang 126 eating house and durian at "wonderful" stall Hahahaha. We were kinda cheated and spent SGD100 on durians!! xD can only go with my papa! He is the expert.
Anyway it was a fun day :)

Ms. S and brother came back from their Europe trip and bought me gifts! :D They shared stories from their trip and photos with me too.. Wish I could visit Europe soon!! Especially Venice :)
The red box is from my sis' friend. She prepared a wedding gift for my sis .it is a very nice framed photo scrapbook art. Had my brunch alone at food opera before grocery shipping at isetan. Bought some cookies, Mochi and fruits :D
Oh ya! I finally visited the Abercrombie and Fitch in Singapore! Don't like the shop :( so dark plus the fragrance used in the entire store made me feel kinda dizzy... And the price is too high too! One cashmere cardigan cost SGD380 - - too steep for me...
Countdown to CNY :) 6 more days!!

Day out with Jie ❤

LONG POST :P

Chatted with sis. NL till past 4am on whatsapp so ended up woke up late for my meeting with Jie and her bf, mr. R...

my OOTD ^^

anyway we ended up meeting at Bugis. Went to temple and then head for lunch at Ma Maison. :) as Jie has got craving for their escargot for quite some time! hahhaa :D

So here's some foods we ordered... other than the ma maison style spaghetti.. the rest taste awesome! ❤

We then head to chinatown for some CNY shopping.. but only managed to get 5Kg of mochis plus pudding!! so Jie gave me some and bring the rest back to Indo.. hahaha. she was so angry as the salesman is so pushy but we still bought all 5Kg that he pushed to us.. -___-

Head to harbour to have our dinner at Marche.. (ok! i suggested to go there coz i have craving for Rosti! xD ) but i feel bad afterwards.. since they don't really like it *me think* as Jie is too sick from her flu... (her flu suddenly got worst.. T_T)

ohoh! mr.R insisted to treat us for both meals!! :| wanted to treat him for marche since he already paid for the lunch.. but yeah... he said I'm still a student and shouldn't pay for the meal. anyway! Thank you mr.R !! :D

Saw this board when exiting from marche.. and I read the "Gong" as "Cha" =.=

After the dinner we went to harbour as they have to go back Indo... and shopaholic in me.. :p I continued shopping at Vivocity for another hour.. bought 2 rings from OutPost and a cream shadow brush, caudalie winter kit and my first Tweezerman from sephora!!!!!!! :D the tweezerman cost me SGD44! :| very very expensive for one tweezer! it better serve me well! :p

Ohoh!! I also went to Daiso and saw some stack-able trays/box which looks matching with my stack-able Muji box!! and I took the risk and bought two trays (see the bottom two trays with brown sticker) and they really match my muji box(top tier with the lid, the lid is actually a mirror)!! :D so happy that I got it only for $2 each. hehe!

Ms.S and Mr.Pig are coming back from their Europe tour in 6 hours time!! :D planning to fetch them at airport! woolala~~ ;D so excited to see their photos!!

❤ Half Day out with Ella

Another morning trip to school for FYP so have to be in jeans and shoes! *boo* so hot for the weather! :(( Managed to finish up earlier and met up with Ella at canteen for my lunch :D

Then I make her to accompany me to Far East Plaza as I need to find out prices for gelish nail polish... seems like it is a lot cheaper to buy online. :| but i still think it's too expensive.. so not getting it for now.. *sad*

anyway!! we had our bubble tea from a shop name "Ding Tea" :D

Then chill out till her friend, Huixin to join us for dinner at....... Cedele!!

was telling Ella how nice their foods taste... but sadly... the service was quite bad and food was normal for this visit! sigh.. perhaps it's dinner peak hour..

Ella like this pancake too! but today's not so up to the standard I had the other day... We told them to serve after meal! but they came with the meal.. so they return it to kitchen and when we asked for our pancake... :( it is a bit soggy and cold... not like the hot one I had on my first visit.. feel so bad to Ella and Huixin.. gonna jio them to nicer place next time! :p

Another day with FYP

Had my 1.5 pack of indomie mie goreng before going to NTU island for my FYP in the morning and managed to rush my experiments with the help of my really helpful and friendly lab technicians! I think they are the BEST lab technicians in NTU! :) so grateful for having them in my FYP journey... To Mr.Tony and mr.Chia, thank you so much!! :)) went home for dinner alone and I was too hungry to wait 30mins for the meal to be ready and swallow down 3 pineapple tarts! And boom! Was too full to eat all the yummy dishes :(( sigh... Why do I always so impatient when waiting for proper meal?!! >.< note to self: "always wait for proper meal!! No snacking 1 hour before meal!" Tidying up my past semesters notes and sort out the ones that my friends need~~ :)) feel good when my notes are recycled! ^^ I still have a lot of notes left though >.< my dear friend in uni, mr.Rara, is helping me to ask if any of his friends need it. :)) Yohooho! Have a good good day everyone! Coz tmr is Friday! ;p but sad to say.. I have to go school in the morning to continue with the FYP~~ *jiayou jiayou*

Went to a meeting at school with final year project (FYP) mentor yesterday.. :( so had an early brunch at home! Indomie Soto ayam~~ I don't quite like it though it is very refreshing taste from my usual indomie ayam bawang. Last 2 days of holiday and I'm finally rushing my FYP again.. A Lil Change

Had sudden urge to get a haircut and highlight so head out to run errand for dad and follow by a visit to the salon~
been in my black hair for a couple of years... Sis said she prefer my black hair :/ well life is all about trying and learning :)

about 2 inch off and it feels so much lighter~

Then went to Cedele @ wheelock place again for dinner! :D

First day of 2012

What did you do on first day of 2012?? :D I woke up at 2pm! So half of the day was spent in my dream~~
Got myself ready and out for some foods! Had an awesome meal at Cedele @ wheelock place and off to get some shopping done :) very different way of spending my new year since the bf is in Aussie yada yada so I spent the day alone! I have to learn to be independent don't I? And time is all mine when I shop alone! :p don't like to bother my friends on a holiday like this coz I suppose they should spend time with their family! :)) hope everyone has an awesome day like me! Hehe my first time blogging via iPhone blogger app! Hope it works and sharing some pic here ~~~ ^^

2011 is a very drama and busy year for me.. :)
But thanks God.. all is well.. and hope that 2012 will be an even better year for all! :D

some highlights of the year (only those that I can still remember)

- Intern at REC. It was a memorable experience for me! first time travelling to such a far west place in SG and very grateful that they accepted me as an intern at the very last minute!! if they didn't.. i would be delayed for my graduation! Thank you REC!! :)

- The BF left for Aussie! (feel so lost at first! but thanks to skype! we can 'meet' and chat everyday :)
- Sis got married!! definitely the HAPPIEST moment of the year but I was so busy with school..wish I have more time to get involved! but yeah... she left SG as well! :(

- Went through 2 tough exam periods! I am never a consistent and self-motivated person when it comes to study but I'm learning to be one! so it was a tough year due to my very bad attitude :| but am glad that all is well.. and cleared all exam!

- urgghh... can't remember what else for now... :p but definitely A LOT more I would like to share! hahah. maybe a follow up entry~~ :p

anyhow! Chinese new year is coming in less than a month! so I am trying my best to do some spring cleaning... getting rids of the beauty junks, clothes, etc that I didn't bear to part.. (worst habit!) shall share some of the photos I took while doing spring cleaning the other day.. Just to keep myself motivated to go through all the messy piles in the room :p

Just wanna post up some of my favorite items that i'm using right now! :)))
no time for reviewing each of them :( exam and deadlines are coming REAL soon! Can't wait for everything to be over! anyway! wish me LUCK people!! hehe :D
Here is the close up pictures and name of the products in random order...

1.Urban Decay NAKED palette and UDPP UDPP is just plain LOVE! everyone loves it! :)) and for NAKED palette... now I hardly use the other eyeshadow palettes! :p *guilty* and I'm constantly going back to sephora to check if there's new stock coming in! coz I need 2 more for my girls! they simply love it after trying out mine! heehee

2.Cellnique Skin Action Sebum Gel Love it's cooling effect on my skin! I applied it on my T-Zone and I think blackhead and pores around nose area really becomes better! :) going on 2nd bottle soon!

3.Paul & Joe Waterproof mascara Been using this for quite a long time.. I think this is my 6th or 7th tub. coz they works great on my mega oily lids.

4.Cle De Peau Concealer got my first stick from ms.S coz she got the wrong shade. and been in love with this since!! the top one is their old packaging. And I'm on my 2nd stick now! use it for my pimples, scars and under eyes circle! :p the only thing i hate about it is the price tag! SGD116 per stick!!! :(( luckily they can last kinda long!

5.Kerastase Nectar Thermique use this on my hair before blow drying! :) smells great and give me smoother hair! on my 2nd bottle now!! heehe :D

6.SATO Hakubi C Gel Help to reduce my post acne marks. yes! I got alot...too much flaws on my acne-prone skin! just can't seem to stop breaking out! T_T and the marks takes damn long to disappear but this gel speed this up!! :)

7.MAC #131 stippling brush Got this recently and it's LOVE!!! went to get their brush cleaner and the SA was so friendly and we start chatting and dang!! I got this in the end of the chatting session. haha. But no regret since it's really a great brush for applying my liquid foundation! :) i ditched my sponges! now i need only a pea size of foundation! just realized sponges really absorbs lots of my foundation.. -__-|

8.Shu Uemura Liquid Eyeliner After trying out ms.S's shu eyeliner... I can't resist and went to get myself one of this! coz my marjolica eyeliner begin to fail!! :( anyway. This baby has fine tip so you can control the line thickness really well.. i'm on my 2nd cartridge now. (yeah! they has refill cartridge around SGD24) hehe. but you gotta clean the tip quiet frequently if you use them on eyeshadows.. (the only point i dislike!)

9.DHC medicated Acne make up base this make up base has good oil control! i still gets oily! but much slower than usual. haha. and it has SPF50 PA++ really hope they have PA+++ though! yes! i'm kiasu (paranoid) like that! :p in super sunny Singapore! LOL. I can't let my guard down at any moment!:p

10.CHANEL Mat Lumiere This liquid foundation has GREAT coverage! *LOVE* I need good coverage foundation coz i have so much flawsss to even out my skin tone! -__- i'm on my 2nd bottle going to 3rd bottle soon! haha. A bottle can last about 6 mths for me. And with my new MAC #131 brush! i think it can last even longerr!! YAYYY ^^

WELL! that's it!! hehe. Hope this is somewhat useful for ya all! :p
but just a reminder, what works on me, does NOT necessary works on you! that's what i've learned after making too many impulsive buy based on reviews! ya know everyone reacts differently for different products. Best is to get samples to try them out before buying them in full size. :)

Nail of the Week (NOTW)

Just to share 2 of my NOTW that I tried these 2 weeks! :)

The O.P.I "Party in my cabbana" on the above NOTW is one of my favorite nail color! :)) it is from a lovely package sent to me by Alyssa from Ahleessa 4 Realz ! :)
she's really generous to send me a love pack with ALOT more goodies that I LOVE it sooo muchh! (I lost the pictures of the package she sent me! :(( I received it since last year august but was too busy to blog! I'm really sorry Alyssa! will try to find those pics and blog about it!)

As for the above NOTW.
I just paint the O.P.I party in my cabbana as the base color and use the dotting tool to do the white dots follow by a layer of glitter polish from Canmake.
I really need more practice on dotting! haha. I swear I did it randomly but they still ended up TOO neat!! :/

The Jill stuart polish in #27 delicate pink is a sheer pink polish. I love the smell from the polish! :p and it's pretty lasting too. but i need about 2 thick coats for the color to show up. The packaging of their polish is LOVE!!! ok. I admit that I bought it due to the cute packaging! haha :p it cost about SGD22 when i bought it in HongKong last December.

Special thanks to ms.S! :p I used her blue polish (O.P.I "What's with the Cattitude?") that she left on the table! haha. :X

For the NOTW, I paint the Jill Stuart polish as the base and follow by ettusais pearl white polish (Vacances Nail 2010 #F2) diagonally. Do the same for the baby Blue polish (O.P.I "What's with the Cattitude?") just on top of the pearl white polish but not covering the whole white portion and then layer them with the glitter polish. (just on the diagonally painted portion) and a layer of topcoat and Voila!
easy DIY nail art at home! :p

Just a quick review on this body cream :)
I got this body cream from the BF's sis ms.S quite some time ago..
She raves about this cream and have to give me one to try it out! so sweet of her! :p
and I really LOVE this!! if not for the price tag! It would be on my HG list for sure!! :/

Description from L'Occitane website:

Tips from the website:

Just my 2 cents:
PROS:
-VERY moisturizing!!
-Lovely smell (well.. some people can't stand the smell thou!:p)
-Absorbs quickly leaving your skin smooth and soft! (loving the feel of my skin upon application!!)
-The texture isn't too heavy. (I don't feel oily after application)

CONS:
-Pricey!! (in Singapore!) selling at about SGD88 for 200ml!! (that's about USD65!!)
*it is selling at USD39 in the US*

Yup! the only CONS that stop me from pampering my skin with this awesome cream!

As much as I love painting nails..
I couldn't find some appropriate time to play around with nail arts ever since last year August (I got enrolled into university! and lead a pretty busy first year there!)
Ok. maybe I did like less than 5 times! :(( *sigh*

So as I'm finally able to enjoy the long school vacation (for almost 4 mths!! ok! i'm left with 1 more month now.. T_T) I bought some new colors to play with! haha :D

My skill got rusty during this break from painting nails! :( hence, this not-so-pretty work!! :(( anyway this is without flash! i love glittery nails but it's such a pain to remove and my nails got so brittle afterwards!! -_- *ignore my super dry cuticles!*

Feb 2010 -
Cut my fringe to try out bangs :p
it's so troublesome to maintain!! especially in hot and humid country like Singapore! unless I'm at some other country else I won't get bangs anymore!! =.=
and the second pic is my mac's breakkie! haha. i cut my hotcakes into heart shape!! ya know! i love having breakfast! but i'm always late for morning classes! FML. and Feb is the month which Stella and Haibo left for Aussie for their study.. :(( The BF and I got dumped in Singapore!! miss them muchhhh!! T_T last picture was taken in Zara's changing room!! i regret not getting the top!! ahhhh. now I couldn't find it anymore.. :((

March 2010 -
Found lots of pictures for march 2010 in my phone! haha :p My elder sis came to Singapore to celebrate her birthday! :)) spent a couple of days with her to shop around :p
Oh! the 3rd pic was taken right after my lecture! haha. My roomie and I decided to dress down and attend the lecture with our shorts and dorm's tee! :p it's FUN but i feel kinda weird :X
2nd row - I played with my hair a little after watching some youtube videos haha. I didn't chop off my hair but just hide it underneath with some bobby pins :)) got me tempted to cut my hair short... :p

and then Dad, Mum and my second sis and her bf went to China.. so I took some pics with them at the airport.. they say I look like my Dad! =.=

Got the beautiful Tulips from the BF for the 4years 9mths annivesary! :D my fave flowers!! haha. but they died pretty fast!! T_T what a waste!

Rilakkuma's snacks galore!! haha. bought so much rilakkuma snacks for the mugging period! :p

Stella came back for a couple of week... haha! we went to have some good food and the most expensive meal we ever had too! We spent about SGD400 at P.S Cafe! haha. thou the environment is cool for chillaxing but that's too expensive for us poor students and army boy! :p will only consider that place for some dessert session only. :)
oh! i trimmed my bangs too short too on that mth! =.= look like a dumb! luckily fringe grows pretty fast! :p and the last pic marks the beginning of my MUGGING days!! we (a group of my study clique) locked ourselves in the meeting room at student activities center to study from 8a.m. to 2a.m. !! it does show some result! since none of us fail any module! THANKS GOD!!! :D

I've been enjoying my holiday since beginning of May... just relaxing at home and have been back in Indo for weeks and having some quality time with mama, papa and sis.. hmm. will be going to Singapore in few more days... :((
planned to go a bunch of places but all got busted. :((

Dear blog! sorry that i've to neglect you for such a long time! :(
Been wayyy too busy than I could handle!
with school, dorm activities, family and my face! :(
yes!! just pray hard that i can pass all my exams! :) hope for the best and enjoy the vacation at the moment! :))

So I've been busy catching up with lots of blogs!!! haha. :D
i really miss make up and stuffs! I still do basic everyday make up for school! :)
sometimes.. i really feel that make up is the only motivation for me to wake up in the morning! :X

school seems too dry and it's even worst when you are in engineering field! :/
but as much as i like make up! i try not to overdo it for school since i hardly see girls with makeup in lecture hall! :O
they have flawless skin to begin with even without makeup! *ENVY!!*

i'm just not born to have flawless skin! and hectic university life makes my skin condition getting worse too.. :(

Tried a bunch of stuff during this MIA period of mine! will try to share as much as possible! :)

August 2009 -
The month when my life as an undergrad student started! Went for the dorm's freshman camp and gotta know bunch of new friends! :))

September 2009 -
Attended our dorm's annual dinner and dance with the theme of Victorian Secret. Lots of senior dressing up in the big gown of Victorian era. Gorgeous! :) I went to had my make up done by Paul&Joe counter and put on a hairpiece courtesy of Stella! :D Love the hairpiece to bits!! and dearest sis got back lots of Rilakkuma goodies from her Japan trip for me!! *HEARTSS* it's totally worth it that i was left behind packing up her messy room with her BF while she was away for Japan! LOL at the pic of the BF when we are done packing the room!

October 2009 -
nothing much happened except meet ups and food trips with love ones! :) last pic is Spade feeling sleepy after our buffet at Shangrila's The Line. :D and of course getta know my fave new friend at dorm even better! haha. check out the sexy pic of him sleeping on sofa at our TV room!! Yes! He's a Chindian a.k.a Indian Chinese! :p who looks like an Indian but can only communicate in English and Chinese! HAHAS *amazed*

November 2009 -
busy month! was doing last minute mugging for mid-semester exam! :( so the loveliest couple delivered the yummy dinner from malaysia to my dorm!! and my LOVE gave me a surprise delivery of my fave strawberry shortcakes!! *LOVEEE* Meet my kidnapped Hamlet the pig! hahha. oh! love the garlic bread from the resto "Esmiralda" at orchard hotel! MOST YUMMY garlic bread ever! :)) Lookie the red jacket? Tried them on at GAP KIDS section!! LOL! yes! i'm short like that! :p

December 2009 -
YAY!! VACATION time!! :D went to HongKong with my love and his family! :) SASA is everywhere there! now i believe! haha. Hope to visit Ocean Park after their renovation!! :D saw their advert board! alot of new stuffs! can't wait!! Shopping is great and we visited Disneyland for about 3 to 4 hours! haha. Love their weather around that time too!! Singapore has been wayyyyy too hot and humid these few months! :((

yes.. i'm rushing like mad trying to digest all the knowledge being taught for this whole semester into my teeny weeny brain within 2 weeks!!
I know this SUCKS! :((
no idea when i'll learn to be consistent and learn my lesson!! it has been repeating for the whole of my study life! BLEH!
sick of this last minute routine before exams.

And to make things worse!
i think depression just came to me again!! i knew it! it's so dejavu! :(
hate that feeling!
all the negative thinking!! and all the skin problems really making me feel so LOW.

friendship too.
I think i really share too much!
I should learn who to share and who I shouldn't.
GAH! maybe i'm just TOO talkative! just wish that i can be a dumb and can stop talking! People only regard me as casual friend *DUH* and I told *** literally every bit of my life. :(

It'll be a lengthy post (I typed this post in parts... :p life is getting busy for me hehes)

My eyelids' story begin here...
I used to envy girls with double eyelids! hahas. :D
I was kinda "special" when I was little since everyone around me has double eyelids and I'm quite an odd one out with my single eyelids.. :(
So they gave me nicknames like "mini eyes" (in chinese: "Mi Mi Yan").. and all.. hahas.

as I grow up...and was introduced to makeup...
I find it so hard to apply eyeshadow on my PUFFY single eyelids! :((
Especially for newbie like me who isn't blessed with any makeup talent :p
Well..My art is kinda lousy.. xD
I think makeup is like an art! :)
MAKE UP = ART
I enjoy looking and admiring them(art and make up).. but not when it comes to create! :p
It's true! most of my friends who are good in art are good in make up!
so I think they are VERY RELATED! :p

So I was quite determined to get a double eyelids surgery when I earn my own money! hahas :X
Even my mum and sisters were kinda supportive! *yey*
Since it's like the most simple and common surgery in the cosmetic world! :p

But still there's a big NO!
I'm afraid that I might end up even uglier! since there are cases where the double eyelids look very unnatural... :( So I was abit turn off and telling myself to just live without double eyelids... :(

So I was introduced to use this "Cutie cutie double eyelids glue" by my sister :p
She heard good things about this from her friend.. so I bought mine from SASA.
Sorry I'm lazy to take pic of my own one.. so took this pic from ebay xD
Forgot the price too... but definitely less than USD10. :p

Then I start using it regularly (almost everyday!) for about a year!
just use it with my HG P&J waterproof curly mascara.. :)

and start using it with my majolica majorca eyeliner...

TADAAA!! after about a year of using it.. I have my own double eyelids without having to use it anymore :))*HAPPYYYY*

Yeah... I'm absolutely happy now having less problems with using eyeshadow! :p
but my double eyelids are kinda naughty! :/ it will occasionally disappear... hahas
so sometimes I still have to use eyelids tape.. (love "Pinky Lady" eyelid tape in size 'S') hehes.

I used to be unable to use eyelids tape.. :p I dunno why.. might be the extreme puffiness of my single eyelids.. :( so Cutie cutie eyelids glue is LOVE!

My REVIEW for "Cutie Cutie Double Eyelids Glue"

PROS:
- Easy to use (of course you need to practice! It's not fail proof... but the usual steps is :Apply on lids, wait for the glue to turn transparent and poke your lids with the stick :p)
- Easy to take off by using water!
- Cheap (less than USD10)
- The bottle can last you for a LONG time (I've never finish one!)
- Can be used as false lashes glue! (saw this tip from Jap Magazine)

CONS:
- Will show up when you accidentally touch it with water (e.g: sweat, rain, etc!)
- Can't use it with eyeshadow :/ (They'll stick on the glue part and looks horrible!)
- can be difficult to purchase.. :( Can't see them in SASA recently.. (maybe out of stock)

My HG mascara,the P&J "Waterproof Curly mascara" is going to be discontinued!! :(( they are replacing it with this "Waterproof Mascara"! So I thought no point stocking up my HG anymore.. T.T and get this to try out instead... :) *hope it works just as great as my HG!*

Brown Eyegloss (#05).. Sis likes their eyegloss ALOT!!
easy to use/blend easily, colors show up well and doesn't creases ^^ last month she got the #04 (in pinkish) and fall in love with their eyegloss! :X so she hauled for more! :p

Gold eyegloss (#01) The SA told sis that this is the best seller among the other gloss... ~.~ her comment after using: "VERY shimmerish!" *as compare to the other 2 colors she got..* :))

she LOVE 'em!! :D

To top up the amount so as to score both GWP! Sis got this "Mascara Primer Duo" - One side is for curling and the other is for volumising..the SA told us that it's meant to use either one at a time.. I forgot why...but isn't it weird if they design something like this but can't use both at once? I want CURL and I want VOLUME too!!xD

Using ettusais's yellow polish (#8) and L.A. Colors Art deco in black! ^^

Looks kinda bare so I top it with canmake glitter polish in #06 for the bling effect!:p

How can I left out my toes! :p I did some 'youtubing'and got inspired to do this! ^^ a bee on my big toe with the trail on the other toes.. hehes. :D can you tell that I'm trying to create an effect that the bee flew from my smallest toe to the biggest toe? LOL. :D

I used acrylic paint to draw! it's so much easier than using nail polish!! ^^ and I got a dotting tool too!! so easy to do dots now :p
Took this pic right after i drew the cloud :p so it still looks like a bumpy cloud.. but the acrylic paint settles down after it dries :D

Hi all!! Sorry for being away for so long :/

-the BF has officially gone for his mandatory military service! T.T

-alot of things to be done for university admission and student's pass

Yesterday was a tiring day!
I slept for ONE hour only
(due to another taiwan drama and...

After one hour of sleep, I went to attend the BF's graduation ceremony! :)
Congrats to my dear!!

Yes! we are in the same school but different courses. :)
So his graduation was yesterday and mine will be on tomorrow!!! hahas.
Kinda lazy to attend.. but it's a nice ending for our 3 years in the school :)

The BF won an award... and get a S$250 cheque!! *jealousss* hahas
Oh! and I bought him a bear bouquet and a sunflower bouquet! :D
I think sunflower will be great for graduation day but thinking about how it will be gone after a few days... So i bought him another bear bouquet to keep as a memory! :)

I bought the KONAD set!! ^^

Got it at a small pushcart store.. i choose the S$29.90/US$20.40 per set..
It comes with
-3X5ml konad nail polishes of your choice (i got black,white and red)
-2 plates of your choice (i choose M57 & M44)
-scrapper and stamp

Help both my sisters to get their nails done with Konad~~ hehes.
They choose the same lace design.. but using different colors as base..

Ordered these Gorgeous Cupcakes from Cupcake Fantasies own by Edith. Her service is excellent! and her cupcakes are delicious and so pretty! ^^
I customised the sailor theme as the birthday girl will be sailing on next Friday!
(a lil note about my study...we have just graduated from Diploma in Marine Engineering, some of us went sailing *sob* while some remain offshore in shipyard,etc and some go for further study!)

So I heard Ruyi(the bdae girl) and Kim are sailing on the same vessel! ^^ *congrats*
It's a Car-carrier from a Swiss company.. seems GREAT! :D Hope they have a great journey!

but the bad color combination make it so ugly :(

1. I'm quite scared right now that I'm becoming more makeup addict! now I can't go out without make up!! I know it's very bad! hahas. the BF is complaining all the time.. :p

FOOD: Japanese Food @ Singapore~~
(and my new earrings and hair tie haul :p)

Have been eating Japanese Food for 2 days! :p
coz the BF like ramen alot.. hahas!

So we went to Ajisen Ramen on Thursday night~
Ramen over there is of okay standard..
I prefer Ramen at Bishamon better! hehes.
It's cheaper and more yummy!! :))

We were too starved and didn't took photos of our ramen :p

We ordered some dessert too...
Okay! I remember to take picture of the dessert! :D

I love eating Red bean dessert~~ So I ordered this~ ^^
but it was too sweet for me!! :(
So I couldn't finish it except for the four mochi ball~~ :p

The BF and his brother ordered the same mango icecream with cornflakes~
They didn't like it either... (Both of them like Dairy Queen's sundae better :p)

The cashier girl said UOB card got 10% off! I'm loving my UOB card~~ keep bringing me more discount~~ hahahs :p

After dinner.. I went to buy some earrings and a hair tie! all bows!! LOL!:D

The next day~~ Friday night! We also had Japanese food~
We went to Shaw House's Tonkichi!
as we were catching the 10p.m movie!! X-Men Origin!!
It's a great movie~~ I love Wolverine~~ :X
ohh!! back to the food~~ :p
I love Tonkichi~~
It's my 3rd time eating at Tonkichi..
Their service and food quality are always awesome!! :))
but we always have to queue up over there..
and there's alot of Japanese families eating there too...

Their pricing is quite high for a poor student like me. :p
Average SGD25 / USD17 per set meal.. but their servings are really BIG!
Definitely worth it! :D

I ordered their mother's day set :p
It's "Soba and Katsu" comes with a Strawberry pie from Rive Gauche!!(my fav cake shop! I love their mango mousse cake and strawberry shortcake ALOT :D)
The set cost SGD28 but I got my Isetan member card~ so it's SGD25~ ^^

The BF ordered Shoyu Ramen set! hahas. I told ya he likes ramen :)

The BF's brother ordered Chicken Ju set...

We add 2 more gelato icecream too~~
Yuzu Gelato (I like this!! a lil bit sour,sweet and milky~~ very refreshing! :D)

Hauls!!

Sister and I was out to hunt for her black formal heels for work on Wednesday night! :p

So as usual!! we got side-tracked!! T.T
and bought a bunch of other stuffs!! =.=

So what did I get this time? :p
Let's see!

I went to Guardian pharmacy at Paragon SC to get my Bioderma Sebium H2O (my make up remover!) :)
I thought they were having 30% off as the SA texted me a day before..
so I went to stock up! BUT!!!
I paid for the full price (SGD33.90/USD22.87 per 250ml bottle) and the SA realize that she made a mistake with the promotion period :((
To make up for her mistake.. she gave me lots of free gifts~~ =.=

Actually I bought 6 bottles of the Sebium H20 and she gave me another 2 bottles for free~~

and she also gave me...
2X Sensibio moisturizer in 40ml size! and one Sebium Akn (a pimple treatment) in 30ml tube!! and 16 travel packs Sebium H20 :D
what a generous SA!! :p

After the SGD200+ hauls at a pharmacy!! =.=
We went to hunt for the heels~~ :p

So we went to a couple of shops but couldn't get the right heels and...
we passed by... Topshop!
I got this... while my sister got another blue tube dress.. :)
Mine was given a 40% off for "get 2nd item at 40% off deal" *tee hee :D*
It's really hard to get my US size 2 stuff at local Topshop.. they are always Out of stock! grrr! but this time round I got my size 2!! *yay*
Others wear it as long tee but it's my onepiece! lol. coz I'm a shortie!! :p

And then we couldn't just walked pass Ms.Selfridge~~
and I got this tunic in purple~~*no idea why my pic show up more like a blue:p* sis got the exact same piece in grey :) yes! US size 2 again :D it's their last piece!! hahas
while making payment!! the cashier lady told me that UOB card entitled to 15% off~~ hahas :D another great deal.. *thrilled*

Then we went to Takashimaya's guardian and I got my canmake glitter polishes at 20% off! LOL. Yes... Singapore's Great Sale is still not here but there are sales everywhere! :p *hope Yumeko is having a great trip in Singapore.. hauling and just having lots of fun here :D*

and before I went home! We saw this "Shoes and Bag affair" bazaar at Takashimaya basement! :p
ALDO,Nine west, Calvin Klein, Paris Hilton, etc etc! all having sale!! =.=
So my sister went around and look for the 'right' black heels~~
and I can't stop trying those heels!! hahas.
but I didn't get any heels :(
The sizes is really limited.. and my foot is really tiny! i wear size 5! =.=
So it's hard to get my pair of heels in a bazaar..
alas my sister couldn't get any heel too! :(

But I bought this mini make-up organiser to replace my Paul&joe pouch~~
I love bag with shape! i mean something like this...

LOL. you get it? it's like a rectangular shape... so my stuffs will get more organized.. hehes...
I tried it out once I get home.. it's quite tiny! lol. but I love how my make-up get organised now.. I don't have to dig in a pouch for my lipbalm anymore! hahas. :D
but I kinda like SWIMMER makeup pouch!! they are of waterproof material and with super kawaii prints on it! but too bad that Singapore doesn't have Swimmer stuff :(

Went home to receive my package from Pichuya.
It's a Singapore based online store! I found while googling for Nature (Taiwan Product)... :p *Thanks to Fuz!^^ she mentioned about this brand in her blog*
Pichuya's service is great! I ordered my stuff on Saturday and I got my package on Wednesday.. ^^ pretty fast ain't it?! :)))

but I will need some time trying out these stuffs.. as I'm just into my new Skinfood Parsley and Mandarin Mild Foam cleanser... and I also bought their Aloe BB cream too!
Need lots of time to add them into my skincare and makeup routine one at a time.. as I'm afraid any of these might irritate my acne condition and I couldn't find the culprit :p

So I cracked my brain for more designs!! LOL. It was quite hard...
so I flipped through Queen's Magazine..
and try out their nail tutorials which are way too hard for me.. :(

after some modification to make it simpler...
I manage to get this...

1.Apply O.P.I Chip Skip on my clean nails(Thanks Eileen for helping me to get this^^)

2.Paint Base coat (I'm using TFS Creamy base coat)

3.One coat of O.P.I Parlez-Vous OPI?

4.Lined my nails with L.A. Colors Art Deco in white

Line in opposite direction to create the 'net'

5.Gradient with Majolica Majorca Jeweling Line Nail Polish in VI494

6.Top coat (I'm Using TFS top coat) and we are done!! :))

My sis like it alot and ask me to do on her nails! LOL. :D
So I did it again but with other color (O.P.I Dulce De Leche) as the base color. :p
It didn't turn out that well.. hahas :X
I like mine better.. more purplish. muahaha :D

P&J at BHG Bugis was having 20% off on all regular-priced item.
So after much procrastination, sis and me went out from house at 8pm+!
LOL! yeahh...
it was really late but we didn't eat any proper meal for the entire day!
except a few biscuits to munch away our hunger~ T.T
So we decided to shop and had our dinner too!:p
P&J SA over there was really kind and nice! :)))
Pleasant hauling with her...
so...
I was telling myself to get my HG P&J Curly mascara only! but...
we still end up with some extra stuffs!
hahas. Sis was great! she paid for all the stuffs ;)
It's good to be staying with own sister as we share alot of our stuffs!
and saves some blings! hehes.

We were too full so we took a walk to Bugis Street! hahas
So I shopped again.. =.=

Bought this cute sandals at a good bargain! ^^

and this cute necklace too~~ :D

and some cheap earrings :p

But all the shops were closing... T.T
So we had a drink at Starbucks and head back home~~ :))

Went to meet some of my babes to pick up our graduation robes! :)
and then we went for phone hunting! =.=
manage to buy a phone for my mum's birthday!! ^^
Got her a LG KF350 Ice Cream phone in Sweet BLue~~

The keypad and font is really huge!
I think it'll be great for her.. I hope she can use this without having to "frown" before reading the fonts. :p *she hates wearing glasses!!*

After getting the phone...
I went to meet sis and Calvin at Plaza Singapura for movie!! YES!! Finally watched the "Handsome Suit"! :)))

I always have the thoughts like the "Ugly" main character...
Thinking of being prettier, taller, better complexion,etc etc!
Just anything that is better! :( But if I were given all these in exchange to my own happiness, would I be happy that I'm a better looking person? :(

Mum is back to Indo again~ :(

She's really cute! I love accompanying her!! hahas. She always make me laugh so hard~ :p

Anyway~the first thing we did was to get our eyebrow trimmed! haha
both of really couldn't stand thin eyebrows on our faces! So we've not been trimming for quite a long time :p *it yucks!!*

We keep emphasizing to the beautician that "we do not want THIN eyebrow!" :p
until they were kinda laughing at us! XD

We also did some shopping at SASA.
As my elder sis (in indo) told me to get the pink lady eyelid tape and some plastic containers for her..
And!! SASA is having their anniversary sale!
So I bought the SILK WHITIA masks for my mum.
Pearl whitening mask (4piece) + pore refining mask (4piece)+ eye collagen mask (should be 4 piece too) = SGD31 only! Usual price was SGD66.70!
sorry no picture! as my mum has brought them back to Indo :(

And I bought their strawberry whitening mask and peach water-binding mask! :D
2 piece for SGD3! Usual price was SGD5.90/piece! :p

I also pick up a Sally Hansen Dries Instantly Top coat *not sure why I get it :'( kinda regret now*

and my favorite elastic band :p

We went to Daiso again! hahas. We went there yesterday and pick up lots of nonsense :p
so today I only got a "Dryness Spray" for nails. :D

After my mum went back to Indo... the BF and I went to Vivocity and I saw this cute tote at Fie Japan. So he bought me this cute lil tote~ ^^

Oh! I went to pick up my free gift as I purchased my Bioderma Cleansing water a while back but the SA wasn't there to give me... She's really nice! After looking at the nail tutorials from Alyssa and Nikki's blog, I couldn't resist myself from ordering the L.A Colors Art Deco. :D

It's my second time ordering from them!

I only ordered 3 on my first haul!
silver glitter,gold glitter and white..
choose the cheapest shipping but I still got them in a week! :))
they even include one Makeup masala pigment sample inside the package! ^^

Hi all!!
I'm back in Singapore! hahas.
It has been a pleasant trip back at home... :))

Tiring day~~
Went to Bugis to meet up with my parents as i overslept! :p
After wards we went to Mt. Elisabeth hosp for my dad's check up...
and then off to Isetan scott with mum and sis~~ ^^
so tempted to get the maquillage lipstick :((
but... i promise myself no more hauling!!
We ended up getting the Shiseido Revital wrinklelift AA...

It cost SGD$158 for 15g!! =.=
my friend's recommend this so i tot it will be great for my mum! :))

They include in a GWP above SGD$138..

Nail Polishes

Do you organize your nail polishes well? :)
I was about to paint my nails and realise that my nail polishes are in a mess!
So i decided to clean them up and store them nicely..
I couldn't locate some of my nail polishes!
LOL. maybe it's at the BF house or some corners of my room. ~.~

I also clean up all the mouth of the bottle! *is it how u call it?:p*
I feel that by cleaning up the mouth, it helps to lengthen the shelf life of the nail polishes. As it can be closed more tightly and less air gets in to the bottle.

Mine end up in a mess still... mission FAIL... LOL
It's expanding... but that's the biggest clear container I can find at home to replace the small one...

#001 is a very pretty hot pink! :p i used to use it alot! hahs
#16 is a bright hot RED! i love it too! it suits my yellow skin well! makes my skin looks fairer.. :))
#003 a dark brown like chocolate! :)) I think it's great on my toes.

#05 is a beige color.. it's great for tone down look or OL. :) but i need 3 coats to get the color on my nails.
#06 purplish nude.. hahas! one of my FAVE! i love it alot! ^^ very feminine colour.
#09 peach pink.. this brightens my skin! not bad... oh ya! the BF choosed this.. :D

Haul Time!

I've been buying things "unintentionally" when hanging out with the BF and friends!
hmm.. guess no more shopping for quite some time!
i didn't even know how much money left in my account right now..

Bought some cotton tops from Promod, Uriage skincare, nail polishes , hair accessories, a book and mag.

I bought 3 tops from Promod at Suntec. Hmm.. I like cotton and simple tops as I can't stand pretty but uncomfy stuff on my body.
It's marked up in Singapore! So sad..it's cheaper on the web especially those with special price! so much different! :((

I've been using Uriage skincare for 2 months now.. Not bad imo.
Went to Watson to restock my thermal water...
and to my surprise!! Uriage range is selling at 10% off!
Too bad i just bought my hydracrystal moisturizer last week! :(
So I bought 2 bottles of 300ml Thermal Water and one of the 150ml size to bring around. :) The SA convinced me to get the Hyseac cream for my pimples and acne. :( I hope it works!

She gave me 2 small samples to try out. hmm.. actually i dun quite like sample :p as i think the amount is insufficient to tell whether a product will work.

They are cute! but priceyy :((
I love BOW :p
so i got a bow headband and a bow elastic :))
The headband is SGD$25.90 and the bow elastic is SGD$19.90!!

Went to Kinokuniya so i bought "Totto-Chan" and "Queen's" mag
Totto chan is a great book! hahas. I'm half way thru my friend's copy and decided to get one for myself as a collection. :p

Okay.. i got bored with my P&J top and base coat. :p
so i went to TFS and get them. My sis bought the brown shimmer polish from their more expensive range of nail polish. The color and the shimmer is gorgeous :)

TFSI is still out of stock! how sad...so we decided to reserve a tube!
I saw the long list of reservation while filling up the form.. =,=

And.. my friend got this CUTE blotting paper from SASA.

Redang Trip!
Just arrived in Singapore last midnight after more than 12 hours of boat ride plus bus ride!
Super tiring journey! hahas.
but Redang Island is just as wonderful as my last visit 2.5years ago! woohooo!
Love the breezy seaside, the clear water and the cute fishes on our snorkeling trip! :))

I got abit tanner but still way better than my last trip in which i turned into total charcoal! hahas. This trip i fully gear up with SPF70 sunblock and re-apply my sunblock when necessary. :) no sunburn anymore! hahas.

We set off at 10pm on Monday,16 March 2009!
9 hours bus ride + 2.5 hours waiting time + 1.5 hours boat ride = 13hours!
Day 1
We reached at Laguna Resort at 12noon on 17 March 2009. Had our lunch and checked in to our seaview room!! :))

After a nice shower! We went to sit by the beach. Enjoying the beach, splashes from the clear water, playing with the fine and clean sand and without realising.. one by one, we all fall asleep by the beach! :p then we went to bathe again and went for dinner and explore the souvenir shops around! :)

Day 2
It is our snorkeling day! it's such a pity that i dunno how to swim :( so i dun get to those deep sea snokerling on this trip! I tried it on my previous trip with the school as my partner was a lifeguard! this time round the BF do not want to risk with me ;p
but it's still enjoyable! weeee~~~

Then we went back to the beach and rent 2 canoes and start on our fun kayak trip on the nearby water! :D hahas.

Day 3
It was a relaxing day! coz I fall sick again! :( I was feeling unwell a day before the trip. Bad Fever and cold. :( my parents even suggested me to cancel the trip! but i've paid the fee and all! and i miss Redang so much! how can I just cancel it? :p so i went ahead and then falling sick on Day 3! T.T
We just laze around at room and at beach. :)
Us girls were reading books with some cakes and smoothies while the guys went to try out the archery. :)
Tried the airbrush tattoo on my bicep and went for a foot reflexology at night! :p it was PAINFUL! :((

our "tattoos"! :p

After a few rounds of pool games, i went to bathe and then we went for supper! last supper at Redang! :(( and then it's sleeping time!
We have to wake up at 5.30 a.m and check out at 6a.m on the next day! :(

Last Day
Wake up at 5.30a.m. then check out at 6.15a.m and had our last breakfast over there.
and took the earliest ferry to the harbour for bus to Singapore!

And Redang Island is still a must visit beach resort! :)) It was made famous by the HongKong Movie "Summer Holiday" starring Sammi Cheng and Richie Ren. Hmm.. and i will definitely visit that place again when i've figured out the art of swimming! :D

Gonna watch "Dragonball Evolution" tonight! hahas. :)) hope it will be nice!! okayy! off to paint my nails, dress up and go! :D

*I've tried 2 of them so far, oatmeal cookie and cherry blossom.
*Cherry blossom give a milder smell than the Oatmeal cookie
*I love the smell of oatmeal more than cherry! :)
*Both give out a decent amount of bubble with a net sponge (i use about 1.5-2 tsp)
* the lip balm has a very nice smell! love it! note the ingredients :))
*very efficient seller! mail out my items next day after my payment! and i got them in 10 days. :)
*Price : USD28 (after discount of 30%) + USD18.5 (shipping) = USD46.50

Review: Majolica Majorca - Lash Gorgeous Wing

PROS & CONS

* It really lengthens my lashes with the fibers.
* Easy to apply as the texture is light (is this a pro??)
* Cheap S$22+ (US$14) -bought it in early feb! forget about the exact price. Sorry :p

* Smudges on my oily lids :(
* Fibers sheds and get into eyes and also stick on my cheeks! :(

Final words:
I purchased this as it is cheaper than my HG P&J Waterproof Mascara. But it fails on my sister and me.. I tried using it before my P&J mascara (this solved the smudging issue but the fibers still shed along the day) so I won't be purchasing this again! :(

Went shopping for more baking ingredients for Stella (the bf's sister) as she is going to bake a cake for her bf on valentine. *sweet* :)) so I did some mini shopping too!

I found my favourite wasabi rice crackers with peanuts at Isetan! :D
and saw this Japanese facial cotton is on sale and selling at S$3 only :p It's big in size (145mm x 98mm) and thin. I used this to run under hot water and then put on my nose area before doing nose pore strip! :D

and bought a Shiseido Ma Cherie's conditioner :) cute packaging ain't it? ^^ it's S$15.75 for 210ml. Can't read the Japanese description but the English version is really brief...
it says

Today is one of my best friend's birthday!

Happy Birthday Kim! :D

She is my first friend in the school! :))

we baked her 2 cakes! one moist chocolate cake for her late night celebration with her classmate and one banana brownie for our own celebration with her :))

Rain also baked some honey cornflakes for us and her bf. ^^

It's a fun baking session and we also make her a jumbo b'dae card for her! :D
although the banana brownie turn out pretty short in height :p hahaha
but it's still yummy!! ^^

Ok. I skipped class today since the lecturer is boring as usual :p and went straight to school with the cake and the jumbo card for her with the helmet that Eileen get for her :)

Hope she enjoy her last birthday in our current school! hehes.

So we went to had our jap dinner and head off to watch Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

The third film in the $200 million UNDERWORLD franchise delves into the origins of the centurie sold blood feud between the aristocratic vampires, known as Death Dealers, and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). I didn't watch the first two Underworld. But I can get the meaning of this story still :)
so go watch it if you haven't :))
I think this is a great movie. The love between the vampire(Sonja) and lycan(Lucian) is the main story of this movie :p

It's been such a pain as I'm controlling myself to stop reading blogs for a couple of days this week.
as I have got 4 tests this week! still left with 2 more tests on tomorrow :D

Went to Ngee Ann City with gua after school today :D
as I need to get a make up remover to change away the Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil that I have been using for years due to its convenience.
So I bought Bioderma Sensibio H2O after Stella's highly recommendation :)) *thanks babe*
tried it just now... it's very gently and give me a cleansed feeling afterwards. :))
just hope it can save my itchy and blotchy face :((

And also got myself the Fekkai Protein Rx Reparative Shampoo from Sephora after looking at Fuz's recommendation in her blog :) it's selling at S$34 for 200ml. Alot more expensive than my normal shampoo... hehe...and I just finish shampooing with the new shampoo, the smell is nice :D hope my hair will be less greasy :p

Ok!! should get back to revise for my tests tomorrow :))

Back in Singapore on last Tuesday.
but Sorry for the lack of update :(
It's my last three weeks in my current school!
Pretty busy with assignments, tests and exams before graduation :)
Wish everything will be fine. ^^

and the Chinese New Year in Indonesia was great! :)
gotta spend time with my dearest family, watch fireworks and meet up with my friends! ^^

will be going back to Indonesia on Saturday again to celebrate my dad's birthday.:))

So I guess will not be able to update anytime soon. :(

I've wanted to update my new majorlica eyeshadow palette :D *my first ever try on eyeshadow* haha.. after looking through so many beauty bloggers' tutorials. :p

and

my new HG handcream!! so nice :D

hmm.. hope I can get more time to blog soon. :))

so tired :((
has been travelling from east to west of Singapore these 2 days due to the chinese new year stuffs.
My dearest mum got me to send gifts to relatives and ya.. manage to do some catch up with them too. :)
but it's super tiring as I have to travel after school and then go back home late nights and wake up early for school. :(

Enough of my rants... ;p

Had a super happy steamboat session with Gua's ex-classmates on monday night. :D
it's fun preparing the steamboat stuffs with the girls and then eat till we bloated. :)))

Really enjoy doing nails for others.. ^^ I always do it for my mum and sister too.. it's very satisfying to see them enjoying the nail painting session and feeling happy in their beautiful nails! :)) but i still have a lot to learn.. haha. after all...i only have those basic skills :p

And Rain's nails is super small!! haha. I think she will spend a veryyyy long time to finish her polishes if she owned one ;p
I only use one stroke to cover her small nails.. so cute... ^^

But as we didn't have time to wait the nails to dry up thoroughly.... she smudges a few of her finger nails polish after i left :((
haha. she was so sad and called me up. anyway.. i'll bring the stuff to school again to do some touch up on them :p

well.. i'm supposed to do my assignment!!

finally have time to blog :D

hectic week preparing presentation for my final year project and finding out info on university. =.=
last night went to have MOS burger with gua's friends (Jesslin, Sharon and ZhangMin) . and I found out a cheaper way of getting OPI nail polishes. *yeah!!*

normally it is sold at S$23.95/piece (USD 16) in Metro Shopping Center. But the nail salon sells it at one for S$22 (USD 15) and 3 for S$55 (USD 37) which means about S$18 (USD12) per piece! :D

Great deal right? haha. but it's definitely much cheaper in US. :( anyway, the SA was so kind to help me choose the colours and have them tried on my nails. :))

And ZhangMin and the gurls help me out too! so i bought these 3 colours...

Dulce De Leche (soft pink)
Russian Navy (bold blue)
Princesses Rule! (shimmerish pink)

Add to my nail polishes collection :)) Previously I only owned 1 OPI in "Parlez-Vous OPI?"
hahs. it's in pastel purple. Saw it in Jap nail art magazine! so nice on the model's hand. ;p so i went to purchase it at Metro. (expensive!=.=)

just came back from another shopping spree with Nely and the BF (from now on, i shall call him 'Gua' in every post) hehe.

Went to hunt for my presentation suit.
Ite, I bought a simple black skirt with gold zip details at the back.
Nely and Stella mentioned the same thing! "Not very formal looking" haiz.
but since Gua said nice and I pretty sick of searching for the bottoms so I just settle with that skirt from GG<5. It cost me S$63.10! :( pretty expensive imo.

And then I got a top from Dorothy Perkins for S$59. Dunno if it consider expensive for a blouse. haha. but ya.. so overall I spent S$122.10 for the presentation. :(

means no more left over budget for my chinese new year clothings!! haha. sad.

Hmm. the overall look is not very formal looking. haha. so maybe I can wear them in normal days also. ^^ depends on how I pair them up. hehe.

I bought about nearly 40 boxes so far in 2 weeks. lol.

didnt know that they have such surprise gift inside! :)
as i always got stickers from the previous boxes.

and [A], i guess another point that you learnt is, not to blog about it. and for your info, your entry was really sarcastic. and dont worry, the 'born-with-good-debating-skill kinda person' is still good at it. she just doesnt want to confront you directly, cuz you always get emotional when it comes to a real talk. the only way to get to you was indirectly. and, i did give you suggestions on monday night. yet you did not take what i said into consideration and went ahead. what more can i say but to complain to my friends, plus i alr accepted your point. and to the 'stick to your suggestion when you firmly believe', i did. JUST BECAUSE you ARE the leader, and had previously ignored my lil suggestions, i can do nothing and went ahead with yours.

I was so silly crying over the loss of my friendship. My heart was aching when I tried to pretend that I don't know someone I once so closed with.
BUT.

But since I'm free right now. So let's just solve some of the response in the email by one of the reader . (quoted above)

I never post sarcastic blog. I blog what I think, I do and I love.
Yes. I'm emotional! So that makes a good reason for her/him to tell others how unsatisfied she/he is with me. And dig out all the history just to get agreement from others that I am at fault.

By the way I like to solve problems, one by one. If now we are talking on issue about project. Then let's solve it and then move on to the personal issue.
The 'monday conversation', I can only recall about the question: "why do we need to include the 'overview' in the presentation" and I did give answer to that. The meeting with our project supervisor, four of us were there. I've asked the supervisor if we can omit the 'overview', but he wants us to include in the coming presentation.

Then what come next: "I can drag mine. But how about [B]'s?" and I typed, "[B] has emailed me and he is fine with it."

And I did sincerely ask for suggestions, but all I get is "Then stick to yours." Anything here I left out? I sincerely apologize for that. And maybe let me have a look at the whole conversation again?
Can I know exactly what are the 'lil suggestions' that I ignored?
I NEVER tell EVERYONE as I only told ONE person. But I seriously ADMIT it's my fault. Since I didn't seek for your approval before yourself telling her first. Which eventually you went ahead and tell her and she told you that she KNEW about it. So I understand that you felt betrayed by me. Therefore I apologized. But you just walked away sadly. And so I uselessly cried.

I SINCERELY regard you as my friend. I never know that you never regard me as one since last year after that incidence. Even after my apologize.
So all these while, are you just pretending to be my friend when I put in all in this friendship?
